NATO Summit: South Korea pledges $100 million in aid to Ukraine

South Korea has said it will provide $100 million in non-lethal military aid to Ukraine, while Britain is set to unveil a $50 billion scheme to develop deep precision strike weapons, as day two of the NATO Summit in Ankara gets underway.

Estonian Prime Minister Kristen Michal has said that his country is "probably the best partner in the Nordics or the Baltics to Türkiye."

Speaking at the 36th NATO Heads of State and Government Summit in the Turkish capital Ankara, Michal said the gathering is critical for demonstrating allied unity and solidarity.

South Korea pledges $100 million in aid to Ukraine

South Korea will provide Ukraine with a package of aid worth $100 million, excluding lethal weapons, a senior South Korean official has said.

The official was speaking in Ankara, Türkiye, where South Korean President Lee Jae Myung is attending the NATO summit.

British Prime Minister Keir Starmer is set to unveil a $50 billion initiative to develop deep precision strike weapons at the summit on Wednesday, the UK government said.
