First organised in 1898, CHIO Aachen brings together top-ranked riders and leading equestrian nations from around the world.
The competition took place at the Soers complex in the Hauptstadion arena, which has a capacity of around 40,000 spectators and attracts thousands of visitors and international media representatives each year.
A special highlight of the event was the “Horse & Symphony” programme themed around James Bond, featuring a joint performance by the orchestra of the Azerbaijani State Border Service and the CHIO Aachen orchestra.
The show combined music, equestrian art and stage performance, drawing strong applause from the audience.
Azerbaijan’s Garabagh and Dilbaz horses also attracted particular attention during the event, showcasing the country’s long-standing equestrian traditions. Their presentation, accompanied by national musical elements, was highlighted as a demonstration of Azerbaijan’s cultural heritage on an international stage.
