Ukrainian drones struck an oil refinery and a key port in Russia’s southern Krasnodar region overnight (13-14 March), local authorities said, causing injuries and damage. In separate action, Russian air attacks on Ukrainian territory killed and wounded civilians near Kyiv, officials reported.

Regional authorities in Russia's Krasnodar said three people were injured in a drone strike on Port Kavkaz, a facility that handles grain and liquefied petroleum gas shipping on the Kerch Strait, opposite occupied Crimea, and that a service vessel and part of the pier complex were damaged.

A fire also broke out at the Afipsky oil refinery after a drone hit the facility, local statements said.

Russia’s Defence Ministry said its forces downed 87 Ukrainian drones overnight, including over the Sea of Azov and Krasnodar region.

In Ukraine, officials reported that Russian forces carried out air strikes in the Kyiv region, killing and injuring civilians and damaging residential buildings, schools and infrastructure.

The strikes reflect a continuation of attacks on areas far behind the front lines in the more than four‑year‑old conflict.

Damage assessments and casualty figures are still being updated.
