The fires, which have devastated areas like the Hollywood Hills and Pacific Palisades, have killed at least 10 people and destroyed nearly 10,000 structures. Los Angeles County Sheriff Robert Luna warned the death toll could rise, describing the devastation as resembling "an atomic bomb."
Among the five fires still burning, the Palisades Fire and Eaton Fire have been the most destructive in the county's history, consuming over 34.
