The Russian Foreign Ministry announced on Wednesday that it has not received any official information from the U.S. regarding the “agreements” on Ukraine reported in the media.

In an interview with state news agency TASS, ministry spokeswoman Maria Zakharova said that while Moscow has followed various publications, such reports should be assessed through official channels. “There are official channels in the U.S. for addressing these issues, discussing them, and negotiating processes. These channels must be used,” she added.

Zakharova emphasised that the Foreign Ministry has received no information from the U.S. in this context.

The Kremlin previously stated that its position on a potential Ukraine peace agreement has not changed since President Vladimir Putin met U.S. President Donald Trump in Alaska in August.

According to Axios, U.S. special envoy Steve Witkoff and Putin’s representative Kirill Dmitriev met in Miami late last month to discuss a framework for ending the war in Ukraine. The 28-point plan is said to be inspired by Trump’s successful push for a deal in Gaza.
