Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus (TRNC) President Tufan Erhurman will travel to Türkiye this Thursday, marking his first official overseas visit since assuming office last month, according to Türkiye’s Communications Director Burhanettin Duran.
“President Tufan Erhurman will make his first official overseas visit to Türkiye on Nov. 13, 2025, at the invitation of President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan,” Duran announced on the Turkish social media platform NSosyal on Monday.
During the visit, officials said that recent developments on the Cyprus issue will be assessed and Türkiye-TRNC relations discussed comprehensively.
Erhurman was elected TRNC president on October 19, 2025.
