All flight operations at Copenhagen Airport, which is Denmark’s largest and the busiest in the Nordic region, have been halted following reports of 2–3 large drones flying in its airspace.

The airport was closed to take-offs and landings at 20:26 local time (18:26 GMT), according to FlightRadar and police.

Approximately 35 flights have been diverted to other airports while investigations are underway.

Police confirmed they are trying to identify the drones, but provided no further details or timeline for reopening.
