The bodies of Colombian artists Bayron Sánchez (B-King) and DJ Jorge Herrera (Regio Clown), missing since 16 September, have been found in the State of Mexico, authorities said Monday. Tests are underway to confirm their identities.
The artists were reported missing more than a week ago after being seen for the last time in the Polanco neighbourhood in Mexico City.
Mexican President Claudia Sheinbaum and Colombian President Gustavo Petro had both been involved in efforts to locate them. Petro had called for assistance from Mexico following their disappearance.
Authorities clarified that further forensic tests are needed to officially confirm the identities of the deceased.
