A 13-year-old Afghan boy was discovered in New Delhi after hiding in the landing gear of a Kabul–Delhi flight, Indian media reported on Monday.
The incident occurred on Sunday (21 September) when Kam Air flight RQ-4401 landed at Indira Gandhi International Airport. Security staff found the teenager, from Kunduz, wandering near the aircraft after it touched down.
According to reports, the boy told officials he had slipped into the rear central landing gear compartment at Kabul airport ‘out of curiosity’.
The aircraft was later declared safe following a detailed inspection and anti-sabotage checks.
Authorities repatriated the boy to Afghanistan later that day on the same flight.
