Eurozone inflation rises for second consecutive month

Eurozone inflation has increased for the second month in a row.

According to Eurostat, consumer prices in November went up by 2.2% compared to the same month last year, just under the expected 2.3%. In October, the rise was 2%, and in September, it was 1.7%.

Compared to October 2024, annual inflation decreased in four, and was stable in three, while increased in 20 members.

Belgium saw a sharp increase of 4.8% in November. Romania had the highest inflation at 5.4%, while Croatia followed with 4.0%. The lowest increases were seen in Ireland, Lithuania, and Luxembourg.

In Germany, once again, inflation remained above the Eurozone average.
