French President Emmanuel Macron and Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan held a phone conversation to discuss the ongoing conflict in Gaza and diplomatic efforts aimed at achieving a two-state solution.

In a post on social media platform X, Macron said: “I just spoke by phone with Turkish President Recep Tayyip  Erdoğan about the situation in Gaza and the prospects for a two-state solution conference. Everything must be done for the peace and security of Israelis and Palestinians.”

The two leaders reportedly exchanged views on de-escalation efforts and the importance of reviving peace talks between Israel and the Palestinians. The call comes amid growing international concern over the humanitarian crisis in Gaza and renewed calls for a lasting resolution based on the two-state framework.
