Indonesia’s police athletes won 22 gold, 9 silver, and 14 bronze medals at the 2025 World Police and Fire Games in Alabama, U.S.
Indonesia secured a total of 45 medals at the 2025 World Police and Fire Games, held in Alabama, the United States, an official said in a statement issued on Friday.
Brigadier General Trunoyudo Wisnu Andiko confirmed that the Indonesian contingent brought home 22 gold medals, 9 silver medals, and 14 bronze medals from the global event.
Wisnu highlighted judo, cycling, and taekwondo as the top-performing disciplines, each contributing significantly to the gold medal tally.
"This achievement is the result of the hard work, dedication, and fighting spirit of the national police personnel, who are not only entrusted with maintaining public security but are also capable of bringing honour to the nation on the global stage," he stated.
The World Police and Fire Games is the largest biennial sporting event for police officers and firefighters worldwide. This year's edition features more than 8,500 participants from 70 countries and regions.
