Chelsea then levelled again in the second half through Alejandro Garnacho, making it 2–2.
Both teams came into the match on 6 points, and the intensity stayed high throughout. Qarabağ looked to hold their advantage, while Chelsea pushed to take control, but neither side could find a decisive goal.
