The Champions League match between Qarabağ FK and Chelsea has finished 2–2 at the Tofig Bahramov Republican Stadium in Baku.
Chelsea took the lead in the 17th minute through Estevão, but Qarabağ responded quickly. Leandro Andrade equalised in the 29th minute, and Marko Janković put the home side ahead from the penalty spot ten minutes later. Chelsea then levelled again in the second half through Alejandro Garnacho, making it 2–2.
Both teams came into the match on 6 points, and the intensity stayed high throughout. Qarabağ looked to hold their advantage, while Chelsea pushed to take control, but neither side could find a decisive goal.
Austrian referee Sebastian Gishamer has been in charge of the match.
Qarabağ entered this fixture after a strong start to the campaign, with a memorable 3–2 away win over Benfica and a 2–0 victory at home against Copenhagen. Their momentum was slowed by a 1–3 defeat to Athletic Bilbao in Matchday 3, but the Aghdam side remain in the hunt.
