Azerbaijan and Kuwait have formalized plans to cooperate in the field of agriculture through a newly approved memorandum.
President Ilham Aliyev has signed a decree approving the 'Memorandum of Understanding on Cooperation in the Field of Agriculture between the Government of the Republic of Azerbaijan and the Government of the State of Kuwait.'
Once the memorandum enters into force, Azerbaijan’s Ministry of Agriculture will be responsible for its implementation. The Ministry of Foreign Affairs has been tasked with notifying the Kuwaiti government once all necessary internal procedures for the memorandum’s activation are completed.
This agreement is expected to foster closer agricultural cooperation between Azerbaijan and Kuwait, opening the door to shared initiatives, knowledge exchange, and joint development efforts in the sector.
