President Ilham Aliyev underscored the importance of mutual high-level visits and joint initiatives in expanding cooperation, particularly in the energy sector.
Kiselova’s visit coincided with the Parliamentary Assembly of the Black Sea Economic Cooperation (PABSEC) session held in Baku. President Ilham Aliyev expressed hope that the visit would foster further dialogue and collaboration. Kiselova thanked the Azerbaijani leader for the warm welcome and highlighted the significance of the Joint Declaration on Strategic Partnership between the two nations.
She also praised the Heydar Aliyev Foundation for restoring the Trapezitsa Archaeological Museum Reserve in Veliko Tarnovo and conveyed Bulgarian citizens’ appreciation.
Both sides stressed the importance of the PABSEC session and noted the successful transfer of the presidency from Azerbaijan to Bulgaria. They also emphasized the value of continued collaboration within international organizations and pointed to new opportunities for economic and trade cooperation, particularly in renewable energy.
