Azerbaijan summoned Poland’s Chargé d'Affaires to protest President Duda’s visit to the Armenia-Azerbaijan border, citing concerns over anti-Azerbaijani propaganda and regional stability.
On 28 November, Michal Greczylo, Poland’s Chargé d'Affaires in Azerbaijan, was summoned to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, according to Azerbaijan State News Agency.
Azerbaijan expressed a formal protest against Polish President Andrzej Duda’s visit to the Armenia-Azerbaijan border near the village of Kerki, which remains under Armenian occupation. Despite prior warnings from Azerbaijan, President Duda participated in anti-Azerbaijani propaganda alongside the European Union Mission to Armenia.
It was noted that the mission, contrary to its stated aim of promoting regional stability and trust-building, is being used as a platform for anti-Azerbaijani propaganda.
Azerbaijan stressed that this provocation undermines Azerbaijani-Polish relations and urged Poland to refrain from actions that compromise Azerbaijan’s legitimate security interests.
