Outcomes of the U.S.-led peace summit between Armenia and Azerbaijan have been discussed during today's phone conversation between Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan and Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan.

The Armenian Prime Minister’s Office announced that Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan briefed the Turkish President on the outcomes of the recent negotiations in Washington, D.C. The discussion focused on several key points: the initialing of the Agreement on Peace and Interstate Relations between Armenia and Azerbaijan; a joint appeal to the OSCE regarding the dissolution of the OSCE Minsk Group mechanisms; the unblocking of regional transport links based on the principles of territorial integrity, sovereignty, and national jurisdiction, as well as reciprocity; and the Trump Route for International Peace and Prosperity project.

By highlighting the establishment of peace between Armenia and Azerbaijan, Pashinyan stated that it will present an opportunity to build "a new level of regional cooperation."

The discussion also covered issues on the Armenian-Turkish bilateral agenda, particularly the implementation of previously reached agreements.

The Prime Minister noted that the current atmosphere is "more favourable than ever" for advancing these agreements.

Both sides agreed to continue their active political dialogue.
