President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev, in a message to participants of the 28th Eurasian Economic Summit, praised the strong Azerbaijani–Turkish partnership and reaffirmed Azerbaijan’s commitment to promoting peace, tolerance, and interfaith harmony.
In a letter addressed to the participants of the 28th Eurasian Economic Summit, President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev underscored the close partnership between Azerbaijan and Türkiye, describing their relationship as a key pillar of unity within the Turkic world.
"My dear brother, esteemed President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan has made unparalleled contributions to the strengthening of the Azerbaijani-Turkish brotherhood and the expansion of our strategic alliance. Our exceptional interstate relations, which stem from a common history, rich national and spiritual values, as well as the unity of our peoples, are developing dynamically, contributing to prosperity, peace and security in the region and playing an important role for all of Eurasia," President Aliyev stated.
The Azerbaijani leader emphasized the country's longstanding tradition of multiculturalism and interfaith harmony, noting that people of various ethnicities and religions have coexisted peacefully in Azerbaijan for centuries. He highlighted that promoting tolerance and dialogue between civilizations is a core component of the country’s domestic and international policy.
President Aliyev also reaffirmed Azerbaijan’s commitment to establishing sustainable peace in the South Caucasus and driving forward socio-economic development for the benefit of the entire region.
