On April 11, President of the Republic of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev met with the Prime Minister of Georgia, Irakli Kobakhidze, in Antalya.
During the meeting, the historical significance of the friendship and strategic partnership between Azerbaijan and Georgia was emphasized.
The Prime Minister of Georgia recalled his business trip to Azerbaijan in January of this year and the meetings he had with President Ilham Aliyev during that visit. He talked about the efforts to expand cooperation between the two countries in economic, commercial, cultural, and other areas, as well as the implementation of the tasks given to relevant state agencies.
Irakli Kobakhidze also mentioned that the remarks made by President Ilham Aliyev a few days ago during the international forum at ADA University regarding bilateral relations were met with great interest in Georgia.
