Azerbaijan and Kazakhstan continue to expand their agricultural cooperation, Kazakh Vice Minister of Agriculture Yermek Kenzhekhanuly revealed in a statement to Trend.
"Bilateral cooperation in agriculture between Kazakhstan and Azerbaijan is progressing steadily in line with our agreements. Trade turnover for the first nine months has reached $27 million," said Kenzhekhanuly.
Key exports from Kazakhstan to Azerbaijan include grains, processed grain products, meat, and meat products. In turn, Kazakhstan imports vegetables and fruits from Azerbaijan.
Despite the growth in collaboration, the vice minister noted a decline in overall trade turnover compared to last year, attributing the decrease to global shifts impacting major suppliers.
The ongoing partnership underscores the two nations' commitment to fostering agricultural ties and navigating challenges posed by global market changes.
