Strong 6.3 earthquake hits Japan’s Hokkaido coast
A strong 6.3 magnitude earthquake shook Japan’s Hokkaido prefecture early Monday, causing no reported injuries or damage, and no tsunami warning was issued, officials confirmed.
A 3.1 magnitude earthquake occurred in the Caspian Sea on Sunday, as reported by the Republican Seismic Survey Center of the Azerbaijan National Academy of Sciences.
The earthquake was registered at 07:22 local time. No tremors were felt.
