Azerbaijan, Türkiye discuss peace and regional security

Foreign ministers of Azerbaijan and Türkiye held a phone conversation on 25 July to discuss their strategic alliance, regional security, and the Azerbaijan-Armenia peace process.

The ministers discussed ongoing cooperation within regional and international frameworks, developments in the Azerbaijan-Armenia normalization process, and broader regional and global security concerns.

Both sides expressed satisfaction with the robust Türkiye-Azerbaijan partnership and its success at all levels, built on a foundation of deep-rooted brotherhood.

Jeyhun Bayramov informed his counterpart in detail about the Azerbaijan-Armenia normalization process and its various aspects, the current situation and prospects for the peace agreement, as well as existing obstacles and efforts to resolve them.

They also exchanged views on other topics of shared interest.
