Backed by the Belt and Road Initiative, the lab is designed to become a regional hub for environmental innovation. It will focus on developing key technologies for environmental protection and sustainable biological resource management.
At the opening ceremony, officials highlighted the lab’s role as a high-level international platform for scientific and technological collaboration.
