The Israel Defense Forces (IDF) confirmed that a missile launched from Yemen was intercepted by the Israeli Air Force (IAF) following warning sirens that sounded in several areas.
The sirens were activated in line with established security protocols. According to Israeli media, the country's airspace was briefly closed after the launch.
No damage or injuries were reported. The missile launch marks another escalation in regional tensions involving Yemen-based threats.
