U.S. sources report that, amid potential strikes on Iran, the Pentagon has once again taken control of the Bagram airbase in Afghanistan.
It is noted that last week, American C-17 Globemaster aircraft landed at the airbase, transporting military equipment, supplies, and reportedly senior intelligence officials.
Afghan journalist Zark Shabab confirmed the information, adding that "one of the planes may have been carrying the Deputy Director of the CIA."
