The United Arab Emirates (UAE) has sent a delegation to Lebanon to facilitate the reopening of its embassy in Beirut. According to a statement from the UAE Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the decision follows a phone call between UAE President Mohammed bin Zayed and Lebanese President Joseph Aoun, during which the directive to restore diplomatic operations was given.
The statement highlighted that "the embassy’s reopening underscores the fraternal ties between the two nations and the friendship shared by their peoples."
