In a tragic incident, 10 individuals were killed, and 22 sustained injuries when a passenger bus overturned on the M-14 Motorway near the capital, Islamabad.
According to the Motorway Police, the bus was en route to Islamabad when the accident occurred in Punjab Province’s Attock District. Rescue teams and police reported that the casualties and injured have been transported to nearby hospitals.
Preliminary findings suggest the accident was caused by the driver's negligence and speeding, prompting authorities to launch an investigation into the exact cause.
In another mishap, a van and truck collided near Moro city in Sindh Province on the M-6 Motorway during the early hours of the day. The collision resulted in eight fatalities and injuries to 13 others, according to rescue officials.
