Kazakhstan’s oil exports to Germany are expected to grow in 2026 following an extension of the existing supply agreement, according to Askhat Khasenov, Chairman of the state energy company Kazmunaigaz.

Under the revised deal, monthly deliveries will rise to 130,000 tons, up from the current 100,000 tons, marking a significant increase in energy cooperation between the two countries.

Kazmunaigaz reported that in the first nine months of 2025, Germany received around 1.5 million tons of Kazakh crude, reflecting steady progress in bilateral energy trade. The company announced the update via its official Telegram channel, underscoring that the extended arrangement demonstrates Kazakhstan’s commitment to maintaining stable export routes to Europe amidst shifting regional energy dynamics.

The agreement also aligns with Kazakhstan’s broader strategy to diversify its export markets and strengthen ties with European partners seeking reliable alternatives to Russian energy supplies.
