The President of Mongolia, Khurelsukh Ukhnaa, will pay his first-ever state visit to Tajikistan on 23rd July. The three-day visit will be held at the invitation of President Emomali Rahmon.
The Office of the President of Mongolia stated that this visit marks the first-ever state visit by a Mongolian head of state to the Republic of Tajikistan since the establishment of diplomatic relations between the two countries in 1992.
During the visit, President Khurelsukh Ukhnaa will hold official talks with President Emomali Rahmon to discuss the further development of bilateral relations and cooperation, as well as to exchange views on a wide range of regional and international issues.
As part of the visit, the inaugural Mongolia–Tajikistan Business Forum and a cultural performance, among other events, will be held under the auspices of the two presidents.
President Emomali Rahmon previously paid a state visit to Mongolia in 2009.
