Uzbekistan and Iran have agreed to establish a Joint Business Council aimed at fostering development of business ties and facilitating the resolution of issues between entrepreneurs from both countries.
The announcement came following a meeting between Davron Vakhabov, Chairman of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Uzbekistan, and Samad Hasanzadeh, President of the Chamber of Commerce, Mining, and Agriculture of the Islamic Republic of Iran.
Discussions centered on enhancing economic cooperation between the two nations, broadening mutual trade and business activities, and advancing the implementation of new joint projects.
During the talks, Uzbek entrepreneurs were invited to participate in the IRAN EXPO 2025 exhibition, set to take place in Tehran from April 28 to May 2.
Additionally, special emphasis was placed on the preparation and high-level organization of the Made in Uzbekistan exhibition, scheduled for May 10–12 in Tehran.
