AnewZ Talks returns with a new season, recorded at the Faculty of Arts at Garabagh University, in the city of Khankendi, Azerbaijan.
Hosted by Katie Wilson, this episode brings together three voices representing the present and future of education, culture and medicine in the country.
Among the guests is Nargiz Gozalova, a Bachelor’s student in Medicine at the Faculty of Medicine and Health Sciences. She offers the perspective of the next generation, reflecting on her experience of studying and living in a region undergoing profound transformation.
She is joined by Türkar Gasimzade, Dean of the Faculty of Arts and a composer, who reflects on artistic creation, cultural identity and the role of arts education in fostering a sense of belonging and community.
Completing the conversation is Dr. Samir Babayev (MD, FACOG), Director General at Garabagh University Clinic and Dean of the Faculty of Medicine and Health Sciences. He speaks about redefining success, leading beyond comfort zones and shaping the next generation of healthcare professionals.
