Iran’s Supreme Leader Ali Khamenei issued his first statement following Tehran’s retaliatory missile strike on the U.S. Al Udeid Air Base in Qatar.

“We have harmed no one, and we will never accept aggression from anyone under any circumstances. We will not submit to any act of aggression,” he wrote.
The comments come amid heightened tensions after the U.S. bombed Iranian nuclear sites over the weekend. Iran responded by launching missiles toward the American military presence in the Gulf.
