Iran’s Supreme Leader Ali Khamenei issued his first statement following Tehran’s retaliatory missile strike on the U.S. Al Udeid Air Base in Qatar.

The comments come amid heightened tensions after the U.S. bombed Iranian nuclear sites over the weekend. Iran responded by launching missiles toward the American military presence in the Gulf.
Khamenei’s remarks reflect Iran’s defiant stance as regional and international pressure mounts.
