Iran has strongly condemned the recent U.S. airstrikes on its nuclear facilities in Fordow, Natanz, and Isfahan, calling them a violation of the UN Charter, international law, and the Non-Proliferation Treaty (NPT)

In a statement on "X" platform, Iranian diplomat Seyed Abbas Araghchi said the attacks were “outrageous” and “criminal,” warning that they would have long-term consequences. He urged all UN member states to take the situation seriously.

Araghchi stated that Iran will respond in line with Article 51 of the UN Charter, which allows self-defense, and that all options are on the table to protect its sovereignty and people.

The U.S. had earlier declared the strikes a military success, while Iran has vowed retaliation, raising fears of further escalation.
