Uzbekistan and Slovakia have officially launched a strategic partnership following high-level talks in Tashkent between President of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev and Prime Minister of the Slovak Republic Robert Fico.
During the meeting, both leaders signed a Joint Declaration on establishing strategic partnership relations, signaling a new phase in bilateral ties. A signing ceremony was held to exchange several key agreements, covering cooperation in diplomacy, agriculture, energy market regulation, and standardization. Among them were a diplomatic training deal, agricultural collaboration, and a roadmap for foreign affairs cooperation from 2025 to 2026. These accords aim to deepen collaboration across vital sectors and demonstrate a strong commitment to expanding Uzbekistan–Slovakia relations.
