Russian attacks across several Ukrainian regions have killed at least seven civilians and injured over 50 others within the past 24 hours, according to regional officials on June 4.
Ukraine’s Air Force reported that 36 out of 95 Shahed-type drones and decoys launched overnight were intercepted. An additional 25 drones either lost radar contact or were neutralized by electronic warfare systems.
In Sumy, multiple-launch rocket attacks on June 3 left four people dead and 28 injured, local authorities confirmed. Another civilian was wounded in a separate drone strike in the region.
In Chernihiv Oblast, a Russian drone injured a 43-year-old man in his yard in the Novhorod-Siverskyi area, Governor Viacheslav Chaus reported.
In Dnipropetrovsk Oblast, an 87-year-old man was wounded in the Nikopol district following drone and artillery strikes, according to Governor Serhii Lysak.
Donetsk Oblast saw one civilian killed and two others injured in the village of Serhiivka, while five more were wounded in other parts of the region, said Governor Vadym Filashkin.
In Kharkiv Oblast, Russian strikes involving missiles, drones, and guided bombs killed two people and injured five more, Governor Oleh Syniehubov reported.
Eight civilians were wounded in Kherson Oblast, where three apartment buildings and 10 private homes were damaged by shelling, according to Governor Oleksandr Prokudin.
In Mykolaiv Oblast, Russian forces launched a Kinzhal missile at port infrastructure. No casualties were reported, but damage assessments are ongoing.
One civilian was injured in Odesa following a heavy drone assault. Governor Oleh Kiper stated that although most drones were intercepted, several residential buildings were damaged.
