Four soldiers have been killed and more than 58 injured as a result of drone attacks by Hezbollah according to Israeli Defense Forces.
Four Israeli soldiers were killed and more than 58 others injured in a drone strike by Hezbollah. The Israeli Defense Forces (IDF) confirmed that the attack targeted a northern military base, where soldiers were undergoing infantry training.
The IDF reported that all four soldiers who died were 19 years old, with eight others severely injured. Seven soldiers were wounded inside the base during the attack. Three of the critically injured soldiers are currently receiving emergency medical care.
Hezbollah claimed responsibility for the strike, stating that it specifically targeted a training camp of the Golani Brigade. The group said the attack was in retaliation for recent Israeli airstrikes on Beirut and other parts of Lebanon.
Initially, Israeli authorities withheld the location of the attacked base, but later revealed it to be Binyamina, a base located 55 kilometers from the Lebanese border, between Tel Aviv and Haifa.
