Putin backs China's call for talks to resolve US tariff dispute
Russian President Vladimir Putin said on Thursday he supports China’s position that its ongoing tariff dispute with the United States should be resolved through dialogue.
Fidan’s trip to Moscow comes after Türkiye hosted the first direct talks between Russia and Ukraine after three years.
Turkish Foreign Minister Hakan Fidan was received by Russian President Vladimir Putin as he arrived for a two-day trip to Moscow.
Details on what they have discussed has not been made public yet but according to sources close to the two countries, the latest developments in Syria and mediation in the Ukrainian war were discussed.
The visit aims to deepen cooperation between the two countries in key areas such as trade, energy, and tourism, while also addressing regional and international issues.
