President Donald Trump said the war in Ukraine should have remained a European matter and that the United States should not have gotten involved.
Trump also noted he is open to increasing weapons supplies to Kyiv if needed, but believes there’s still a chance to reach a peace deal.
He explained that this is why he hasn’t tightened sanctions on Russia — because he sees a real opportunity to end the conflict.
