The United States has imposed new sanctions targeting Iran and China, according to a notice from the U.S. Treasury Department.
The sanctions, issued by the Office of Foreign Assets Control (OFAC), focus on individuals and entities linked to Iran’s ballistic missile program.
The measures specifically target six individuals and twelve entities that are involved in helping Iran's Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) acquire materials for missile development. These sanctions are part of the U.S. government’s ongoing efforts to exert economic pressure on Iran and curb its military activities.
