Police in Stuttgart say a car plowed into a group of people, injuring eight, though early findings suggest it was accidental.
At least three people were seriously injured and five others sustained minor injuries after a car drove into a group of people in the southwestern German city of Stuttgart.
Authorities said the driver, a 42-year-old man, has been arrested and is currently being questioned.
A preliminary investigation suggests the incident may have been a tragic traffic accident. Police added there is no indication that it was an attack or a deliberate act.
