Posting on his Truth Social platform, Trump said his April 2 "Liberation Day" announcement which introduced reciprocal tariffs on nations he accuses of unfair trade, has led to international reactions.
"They must correct decades of trade abuse", Trump wrote, adding that rebuilding America’s wealth and achieving fair trade will not be easy, but necessary.
Trump's recent flurry of tariff-related statements has sparked concerns over potential global economic disruptions.
