Turkish Foreign Minister Hakan Fidan held a phone conversation with his US counterpart Marco Rubio on Monday, discussing the latest developments in Syria and the humanitarian situation in Gaza, Anadolu Agency reported, citing diplomatic sources.
The two ministers also exchanged views on ongoing efforts to establish a ceasefire between Russia and Ukraine, the sources added.
Fidan and Rubio had previously met on 3 April in Brussels during a NATO foreign ministers meeting.
