The posting of the flag of the so-called regime, which is considered a relic of the past, along with the accompanying text on the German President's social media, has sparked significant dissatisfaction in Azerbaijan.

The German side acknowledged that the post was made due to a technical error and was promptly removed.
A letter of apology, issued on behalf of the Head of the Office of the President of Germany, was sent regarding the incident, and consent was granted for the letter's release to the media.
