Plans for a proposed peacekeeping force in Ukraine will be outlined at a closed meeting in the UK on Thursday.
Senior military leaders will attend the meeting, with more than 20 countries being involved. Britain and France will lead what is being called the "coalition of the willing" to discuss how the force would be deployed.
Prime Minister Sir Keir Starmer is expected to attend the meeting at the Joint Headquarters in Northwood, West London. However, Russian President Vladimir Putin has consistently stated that he will not tolerate NATO troops on the ground in Ukraine, presenting a major challenge to the coalition's plans.
