British Prime Minister Keir Starmer on Tuesday welcomed Ukraine’s agreement to a 30-day ceasefire proposal and said it was now Russia’s turn to end the fighting.
Starmer congratulated Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy and US President Donald Trump for what he called a “remarkable breakthrough” in efforts to halt the war.

Starmer said he would push the ceasefire talks forward at an upcoming meeting of world leaders convened by Britain.
