The Netherlands will allocate €3.5 billion ($3.8 billion) to support Ukraine in 2026, Prime Minister Dick Schoof announced on Wednesday. He said the funding would ensure continued assistance and could also be used in 2025 if necessary.

The Dutch government confirmed it will maintain its support for Ukraine, reserving €3.5 billion for military and financial aid in 2026.

Prime Minister Dick Schoof stated that the commitment ensures Dutch aid remains unchanged next year and added that part of the funds could be utilised in 2025 if required.

The previous Dutch government had already earmarked a similar amount for Ukraine through 2025.

Schoof also announced that €700 million from the allocated funds would be used to invest in drones for Ukraine’s defence.
