Russian online marketplace Ozon has suspended operations in Saratov, southwestern Russia, following a drone strike on a warehouse in the region. In Ukraine, Russian strikes on Kyiv early on Friday injured eight people, city authorities said.

Russia says it hit cargo ships in Black Sea 

Three cargo ships carrying equipment for the Ukrainian army have been hit in the Black Sea near the ports of Chornomorsk and Odesa in southwest Ukraine, Russia's Defence Ministry has said.

Several logistics and data centres in various regions of Ukraine were also struck, the Ministry added.

Online retailer Ozon suspends operations in Russian region after strike 

Russian online retailer Ozon has suspended operations in Saratov, southwestern Russia, following a Ukrainian drone strike on a logistics hub in the region. 

The e-commerce giant said it was currently neither accepting nor delivering new orders to clients in Saratov, in a post on Telegram.

Firefighters are tackling a blaze at the warehouse triggered by the strike, the firm added.

Russia destroyed 777 Ukrainian drones overnight

Russia shot down 777 Ukrainian drones overnight, Russian state news agency TASS has reported, citing Moscow's Defence Ministry. 

Drones were intercepted and destroyed "over Russian regions, as well as the Black and Caspian Seas," according to TASS.

Two killed in Ukrainian drones strike on western Russia

Two people have killed in a Ukrainian drone strikes on western Russia's Tula region, the area's Governor Dmitry Milyaev said on Telegram.

He said another three people had been wounded due to drone attacks, adding that 26 drones were destroyed over the region overnight.

Ukrainian forces have destroyed an armoured combat vehicle, passenger vehicles, a motorcycle and ammunition and fuel depots, among other infrastructure and sites, the country's State Border Guard Service said in a statement on X.

The number of people injured in Russian air strike on Kyiv has risen to eight, city authorities said on Telegram. A fire was also triggered in a nine-storey apartment building by the attacks on Friday morning, officials added.

Ukrainian strikes trigger fire at Russian warehouse, retailer says

A Ukrainian drone attack caused a fire at a logistics hub of Russian e-commerce company Ozon in the city of Saratov, southwestern Russia, the company said on the Telegram messaging app on Friday, adding that there were no casualties.

Roman Busargin, Governor of the Saratov, said there was damaged to “civil infrastructure" due to a drone attack, but so far no reports of injuries, in a post on Telegram. 

Independent Russian outlet ASTRA said that its analysis of videos showed there was a fire at an oil refinery in Saratov, owned by Russian state energy firm Rosneft. There has been no official confirmation of this from authorities.

Russian air strikes injured two and caused a fire in a nine-storey apartment building in the Ukrainian capital of Kyiv on Friday morning, the city authorities said on Telegram, after they asked people to seek shelter amid a drone alert.
