The U.S. has carried out another deadly strike on a suspected narco-trafficking vessel in the Caribbean.

U.S. Defence Secretary Pete Hegseth announced that, under President Trump’s orders, the military struck a narco-trafficking vessel linked to a designated terrorist organisation in the Caribbean.

"Today, at the direction of President Trump, the Department of War carried out a lethal kinetic strike on another narco-trafficking vessel operated by a Designated Terrorist Organisation (DTO) in the Caribbean," Hegseth wrote on U.S. social media platform X.

The strike, conducted in international waters, killed three men described as “narco-terrorists,” while no American personnel were harmed.

Rights groups and the UN have condemned the actions as violations of international law, with UN human rights chief Volker Turk calling the attacks “unacceptable” and demanding an independent investigation.
