Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu visited the Civil-Military Coordination Center in Kiryat Gat on Wednesday, highlighting ongoing cooperation with the United States on Gaza.
“I am happy to host our American friends here in Kiryat Gat. They are working with us on a plan to achieve a different Gaza, a Gaza that will no longer pose a threat to Israel,” Netanyahu said.
He noted that the goal agreed upon with President Donald Trump and other partners remains disarming Hamas and demilitarizing Gaza, and that Israel is implementing the plan in stages.
“I believe that with cooperation we have already done things that have amazed the world, both in Iran and in the release of our hostages alive, which no one believed we would succeed in,” Israeli PM added. “There is a real effort here in cooperation, with security being maintained in our hands, to achieve results that perhaps no one believed we would achieve, we want to try.”
The visit underscores ongoing Israeli-U.S. collaboration on security and counterterrorism measures in Gaza.
