“We have a real chance for greatness in the Middle East. Everyone is on board for something special, for the first time ever. We will get it done,” Trump wrote in a post on Truth Social.
According to administration officials, Trump is due to meet Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu at the White House on Monday to work towards establishing a framework for a deal.
On Friday, Trump said discussions with Middle Eastern countries on Gaza were “intense” and confirmed that both Israel and Hamas were aware of the talks, which he stressed would continue for as long as necessary.
